Poll Results

It's weird. I consider myself a blog with readers that would be watching anime and reading manga. Yet, when I polled who you guys thought would win the World Cup, there were around 300 votes in 4 days...=S And now I ask a question on anime, and it takes 4 weeks to reach 150 votes. What is wrong with you people?! Only joking, haha. =P Well, I think I'll be waiting for the vote count to reach 100 or 150 on all other polls before announcing the results. The question: What do you look for in upcoming animes? Thanks for voting, and here are the results after a STAGGERING (lol) 150 votes: 1) More dynamic and involving storylines - 26% 2) More innovation - 25% 3) Fun and laughter! - 17% 4) Love and romance - 11% 5) Better animation - 11% 6) More of the same - 5% 7) Something else? - 5% Err, I guess it's hard to have a clear winner when there are 7 choices and everything listed can be improved on. =P Still, better stories and innovation win out over the others. Kinda expected, actually. Animes are getting too much like they're coming off a single production line, with a little difference in their artwork. I know it's hard for studios (or mangaka for that matter) to come up with something really different since the same crap sells so well. But stuff like Suzumiya Haruhi is different and proves that coming out of the comfort zone doesn't always result in failure.
